Holistic Treatment for Substance Abuse near Rancho Cucamonga
Unlike many treatment centers, our treatment facility offers holistic treatment options to address your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Rather than relying on a 12-step treatment program that doesn’t work for everyone, our staff members focus on helping patients improve their mindset, reducing the risk of relapse and making the recovery process a little easier. Holistic treatment doesn’t replace medications and therapy, but it does complement them, aiding in relapse prevention.
Types of Holistic Therapy
While there are many traditional treatments for drug addiction, such as rehab programs, there are also many holistic therapies that can be beneficial. Holistic therapies can help individuals with substance abuse disorders to overcome their addiction and to rebuild their lives. There are many different types of holistic therapy available, so it is important to find the right one for you.
Our treatment center offers several types of holistic therapy, giving patients many chances to improve their physical well-being, increase their self-awareness and begin to love themselves for who they are and not who they wish they could be.
- Equine-assisted therapy: Connecting with a horse during equine-assisted therapy helps patients develop appropriate boundaries, improve their attitudes and develop greater awareness of their physical and emotional state.
- Yoga: Yoga clears the mind and helps relax the body, making it an important component of the holistic therapies offered at our treatment center.
- Amino acid therapy: Drug and alcohol withdrawal are tough on the body. Our treatment center offers amino acid therapy to correct the chemical imbalances that can occur during this process.
- Gong sound healing therapy: At our treatment centers, we offer gong sound healing therapy to help patients improve their emotional outlook and achieve an overall sense of serenity.
Outpatient Programs at Our Treatment Centers
For patients in Rancho Cucamonga and throughout San Bernardino County, Ranch Creek Recovery also offers outpatient treatment programs. Outpatient treatment is less intensive than residential treatment, but it still helps people recover from their addictions. Patients in this program come to our drug rehab center three times per week for three hours each time.
In addition to individual and group therapy, participants have ongoing access to aftercare, an important component of relapse prevention. Our aftercare program includes follow-up calls every 30 days and opportunities to speak at alumni events.
Like patients who receive inpatient treatment to address addiction and other forms of mental illness, patients in the outpatient program have access to holistic therapies that can help them overcome substance abuse and prevent relapse.
