This is, by far, the best recovery center that I have experienced and heard of. I have been sober since I left Ranch Creek 3 1/2 years ago. They saved my life physically, as I was about a month away from being put onto the liver transplant list, they saved my marriage and relationship with our four children, and they saved me emotionally, as Dr. Dena was able to get some of my issues to a conclusion without me using alcohol to numb the pain. I do the work every single day, but I wouldn't be here without Ranch Creek. They definitely do it right!

This place has saved my life. The counselors, the nurses, the teachings (tools), and the environment were amazing. They were very patient, caring, and understanding. I learned so much there and gained a whole new self identity. After inpatient, they offered me an outpatient program that you can partake either in-person or via Zoom. That is so necessary and beneficial as well. I would suggest that anyone who wants and needs to get their life back or reshape who they are for the better to give this place a try. I live life through new eyes and with a healthy mind. You won't be disappointed.

This place is amazing for small group individual care. I've never seen a place that truly focuses on what you need and working with you to help you get there. They are not like other places that just get you sober and throw information at you. They truly care and want you to succeed. If you are in need of help to get sober this is your place.

Staff: 4.5/5Owner, Director, therapists, nurses, counselors, and support staff are all really great. I had no issues with anyone in particular. They are all there to help you however they can. I found that everyone advocated for my well being, were available when I needed them, and did their best to support me, check in on me, and make sure I was happy and comfortable.(why not 5/5? They have had a bunch of turnover and need to update their website with their newer staff members and qualifications. Additionally the Doctors they partner with were not as thorough as I would have wanted, and were kind of pushy with medications)Program: 4/5Small groups for the win! You get a lot of attention if you need it. This is a Holistic approach rehab. They do not focus on any 12 step programs. You have daily classes with different counselors, focusing on the science behind addiction, anger management, talk therapy, art therapy, equine therapy, nutrition, and much more. You have one-on-one sessions twice a week with a Licensed Therapist, and you have access to a gym daily, with a yoga instructor and trainer coming a few times a week. You also have a docent that comes once a week to do sound therapy, and you can learn techniques such as tapping. They have 2 doctors on staff you will have Zoom appointments with, and someone is always present to distribute morning, afternoon, and bedtime medication. You can also always grab whomever is on-call to talk through any issues or questions you have.(why not 5/5? Overall I found that there was too much down-time. I got bored and restless with that much free time and I craved more structure. Additionally I thought that the family Zoom sessions could have served as a stronger resource for loved ones)Location: 4/5Murrieta is a quiet, tranquil area, with mountain views, a lot of farmland, and very little public noise to distract you. When you do leave the house, you get to visit a small farm that is very close by to interact with horses and goats, etc. You also have an outing on Saturdays for a few hours that allows you as a group to get out of the house. The immediate area has all the basic stores and activities you would want, like target/walmart/grocery/7-11/etc as well as mini golf, bowling... You do need to decide as a group where you want to go because you have 1 chaperone and need to stay together at all times.(why not 5/5? There are 2 different houses located about 10 minutes away from each other. The Bass house advertised on the website is much nicer and larger than the Doreen house. During my time the clients staying at the Doreen house were shuttled over to the Bass house for our daily classes and sessions, not being able to utilize their own kitchen, rooms, and bathrooms during the day. I was also told by clients that the Doreen house was not as nice as the Bass House)Amenities: 4/5Pool - (I was there in the winter, so it was not heated and basically unusable, however, I did do some cold plunges just for the shock)Hot tub - available once a week on Friday eveningsYard - Large Grass Backyard and cement patio with tables and chairsGym - Available daily. TV for movies or music. Free weights, yoga mats, and a few outdated cardio machines that mostly worked.Kitchen - Large kitchen, multiple Fridges/Freezers, Huge pantry for preparing anything you want, ovens, microwave, toasters, dishwasher, outdoor gas grill, etc...Pool table, ping pong table, arts and crafts table, outdoor TV, Indoor TV, Computer, land-line house phone.Comfortable rooms and bathrooms with laundry access, and provided bedding and towels.(why not 5/5? I was disappointed that it wasn't clear that the pool and hot tub didn't have daily access as advertised, and that the gym was more outdated than described/pictured. They also could make some very inexpensive recreation investments like a basketball for their outdoor hoop, soccer ball, frisbees, croquet set, bocce, etc for their giant lawn to be used during the extensive downtime)

Ranch Creek Recovery is the best way to start your new healthy way of life. This program actually saved my life and my sanity. Their Holistic approach was amazing and I learned so much from my counselors and Dr. Dena. With only a limited number of participants in the house at one time, you are guaranteed the one on one time, as well as the group counseling they offer in a safe and comfortable setting. They make you aware that they truly care and are there to support you , listen to you, and most important to teach you. Teach you information about triggers, cognitive behavior and how to stay sober. They include therapy through others means such as Yoga, Meditation, working with Horses and even Physical Training. Ranch Creek makes sure when you leave you are good, Mind, Body and Soul. They have an excellent Intensive Outpatient Program (10) weeks that helps navigate your way back into life. A year ago (received my one year chip June 8, 2022) I was lost and a raging out of control alcoholic. I can proudly say today that I am not. I will always be an alcoholic with an addictive personality. But now I have tools, personal contacts and the faith in myself that I have never had before in my 9 years searching for sobriety. I often reflect back on my time at the Bass house. I am probably one of the few that actually stayed 60 days because I had so much to learn. My insurance did not cover all of the last days, but it was worth it to me, so I stayed. I am so grateful to so many of the staff, Jimmie, Christine, Jonathon, Dr. Dena and countless extended staff to name a few, because there were more. I would not be here to tell you it works, because without the treatment and the help I received, I alive today to tell my journey. If you are ready to face the truth, please give them a call. I promise if you are committed, you will never be the same as when you walked in. Thank you Ranch Creek Recovery.

My experience with Ranch Creek Recovery was incredible. The staff is extremely kind, compassionate and professional. They treat their clients with respect and not just like a number or paycheck. I really feel like they care. The residential facility went well beyond what I expected in terms of comfort, recreation and cleanliness. The included luxuries such as yoga, personal training , coupled with the group therapy sessions and one-on-one sessions with the psychologist really gave me the tools I need moving forward in my recovery.

My experience here has been a really positive one. I have never been treated so well by perfect strangers and I have never had so much peace of mind. I really appreciate everything everyone does here. Being in such a beautiful environment with such nice people has made getting clean and sober one of the easiest things I’ve done with my life. I finally have hope for my future and for my sobriety.

Ranch Creek Recovery saved my life. I came into RCR lost and broken trying to get back on track in my life. As a result of this great team of counselors/psychologists, I have done more than restore my life, I have reached new goals and gained so many life skills that go far beyond just being sober. I love and appreciate all the staff and know if you have a willing heart to change, you are in the right place.

I loved Mark. He was the first person I met and the last person to see before boarding my plane back home. His smile is infectious and I loved our early morning (messed up hair) conversations. I am not the same person that walked through the doors my first day at RCR. I am a better person because of my treatment here. You challenged every fiber of my being with the rigorous schedule you made me adhere to. At first I felt I was in a German Concentration camp and I would be led to the incinerators at any moment. I passed through the fire thats for sure, but I did not get burned. Thank you for making me do the work and for holding me accountable. I have the tools now to live free of substance abuse. I could not have done it without you. This is where my journey starts. This is where I started living again. I will never forget all of you. Treva Dear RCR staff and Administration: I wanted to take this time to thank all of you for everything you have done for me during my time here. I truly appreciate all of your hard work, time, effort, and dedication to your jobs in aiding me in my recovery. I definitely feel blessed to have had this opportunity to change my life, but even more so because I was able to do it with the help of some of the most extraordinary individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in my entire life. It wouldn’t have been the same if I had gone somewhere else, because I know deep in my heart that I came to Ranch Creek for a reason, and in doing so I have been given a life-changing experience I know I’ll never forget. You have enabled me to look deep within myself to rediscover who I really am inside, to remember the real person I was put on this earth to be. I had forgotten who I was for so long, I thought that person was gone forever, that I’d never wake up another day genuinely happy to be me…but now I can, and I do. I’ve found myself again, only now I am stronger, and I am wiser. I have everything I needed and everything I lost, because now I’ve got it back…now I recognize where I went wrong and why, and because of that, above anything else, I am more confident than I have ever been in my ability to live a successful, fulfilling life in which I can not only be happy, but feel worthwhile at last in whatever I choose to do. I am no longer confused, and I am no longer afraid. I am not ashamed of who I am, nor do I regret my past, because I wouldn’t be who I am today otherwise. I do not resent who I am, or what I have done, I embrace it instead, and without your guidance, I wouldn’t be where I am at today. I am so grateful to each of you, and I am adamant in doing my part by giving back, by becoming an inspiration to those people still broken as I once was…like you have been to me. I owe you my life, thank you for giving me the strength to save me from myself. You will forever be in my heart.

I have never been in residential treatment before, so i had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The setting at RCR was peaceful and serene. I was comfortable and felt the home-like setting was most beneficial for my recovery. I was treated with respect by the staff and residents. I believe that a multi-modality, holistic approach is the key to recovery and received that here. I really enjoyed the family-like safe atmosphere here. I was able to relax, decompress and focus on my recovery and underlying issues.

In my twenty years of alcohol and drug use, this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. People really do care, it’s not just a paycheck. Everyone contributed to the amazing experience. I realized my mental health was the #1 priority. My (substance) use was just the top of the iceberg. I learned to let go of so much more. I went through a divorce, lost my home and family while being here and nevertheless, I came out on top. Thank you to the (RCR) team.

Thank you for your guidance and support of my daughter. I didn’t get to know everyone. I wish I could have. You’re all a great group of people and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for my daughter at a time when she needed the help. Once again thank you, and my hopes and prayers are for all of you to live a wonderful life.

I had a wonderful experience at Ranch Creek Recovery. I was able to learn so much about myself and understand how to use my coping skill to manage my anxiety and frustration. I also appreciated having access to a therapist every day. I learned so much from her. I loved the daily groups, personal trainer, yoga, drum meditation, equine therapy, acupuncture as well as learning and socializing with other residents in the house. I highly recommend Ranch Creek Recovery.

I have spent 70 days at Ranch Creek Recovery. I thank God that I had the experience I had while here. I learned so much about myself and the disease of addiction. I have met some of the nicest, most humble and helpful people in my life while here. The staff is wonderful and treated me with the utmost kindness. I will never forget RCR, and I now realize that a clean and sober life is possible and wonderful. I loved the equine therapy, yoga, acupuncture and friday meetings. I love the house, dogs and all of the clients. I thank everybody at RCR for being a part of my recovery.

I learned more about myself and past trauma in a week than I ever have. It has helped with my self-esteem, self-confidence and boundary setting. The group discussions were always in depth and never rushed. Family education nights were helpful for both my family and me, and my kids felt comfortable saying whatever they needed to or ask questions. I feel so much better equipped to continue my sobriety and I would definitely recommend Ranch Creek to anyone struggling with addiction. I felt like all the staff were genuinely interested in our recovery and teaching us how to stay clean and sober.

Shelly and Mark, At this time last year, I was still at Ranch Creek Recovery. Today, I am 5 days from being 13 months clean and sober. My life today is beyond my wildest dreams. I never thought I would ever get out of the grip of drugs and alcohol. I thought I was destined to die miserably, until you gave me the chance to start over again. I owe my life to you both. I truly believe that I would not be alive today if you hadn’t done what you did for me. I had many chances to get into a program long before I came to Ranch Creek Recovery, but I was never able to put in the work to succeed. I knew that when Mark called me, while I was at the mental health unit, It was my last chance to make BIG changes. Thank you for taking a shot on a longshot like me. If I told you how amazing my life is today it would be an understatement, and everything started at Ranch Creek Recovery. I love you guys!

Overall I have to say the beginning of my recovery has been a success due to the fantastic help from the staff at Ranch Creek Recovery. I came here scared and a mess. Throughout the last month I have relearned who I am and what truly makes me happy. I have also learned many tools to help me stay clean and sober. My outlook on daily situations has improved immensely. I have experienced exceptional days by living in the “now” and not in the past or the future. This program has made me realize what is truly important in my life. RCR gives valuable information and tools to help people begin recovery and at the same time RCR allows one to have enough free time to explore their thoughts and feel like they still have a life. Leaving RCR I am a whole lot healthier, both mind and body, than when I got here.

It was an amazing experience for me and a solid foundation in my recovery. Anyone looking to truly recover from an addiction or, as in my case, dual diagnosis would greatly benefit from this program. The facility is a beautiful, intimate setting, high on a hilltop in Temecula, a panoramic view that can inspire peace in anyone, even when detoxing from alcohol or drugs. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding. The groups are small and informative, providing the perfect situation to cultivate deep friendships and connections with fellow clients, as you help each other along. Intensive one on one therapy is provided daily, along with intensive family therapy (they even do skype sessions). The weekly schedule includes equine therapy, yoga . It is a well rounded program… Not only did the staff help me to recover from my addiction, they went above and beyond to assist me with my insurance, disability, finding an outpatient plan to suit my needs and countless other overwhelming issues that could have proven detrimental to my recovery. The warmth and compassion, in that gesture alone, is something that I will carry with me as a reminder of what it means to truly help another person in crisis. Ranch Creek Recovery saved my life! I was treated as more than just “another client”. I was, am and will always be a part of a family. Thank you all (from the bottom of my sober heart)!!!!!!!

Ranch Creek Recovery is a place I feel safe, respected and feel the staff has my best interest at heart. I have been battling alcoholism for the last 5 years. RCR has taught me to identify my triggers, use coping mechanisms and to put myself first. Alcohol has been how I coped with life’s challenges. I now believe there are other ways to combat problems without turning to alcohol. I feel very hopeful and confident I will stay on the right path to sobriety.

I want to thank you for saving my life. I really believe that if you both had not done what you did for me, I would not be alive today. You gave me another chance at the life I want so bad. I learned many things here about myself and how to deal with all the issues. The only way I can pay you back for your hospitality is by showing you that your program works. You took a serious chance on me and I still don’t know why. But I would like to believe that you did what you did because of my God working through you. I hope that I have shown you all the respect that you deserve. If I haven’t then I apologize for that. One day I hope I can do for someone else what you have done for me. Thank you.

In the time I have spent at RCR I have found the staff to be caring, professional and concerned about me. They not only treated me as a client in recovery, but as a person. They have taught me to respect myself and my feelings. I have made friends with all who work here and I know I can call anytime if I need to talk. RCR truly cares about the people who come here for treatment. They treat the person as well as the addiction.

Coming to Ranch Creek Recovery, I had been through three different inpatient chemical treatment facilities in CA. I was feeling lost and somewhat hopeless. The serene setting gave me peace and I began healing. The counselors were very inspiring and helped me grow in ways I haven’t experienced in years. I began to see the bigger picture that a life in sobriety can give you. Although I am somewhat scared to leave the comfort and security that Ranch Creek Recovery and staff has brought me, I am also excited to share my growth with my family and to start my new life. Thank you RCR!

It really was one of the best experiences of my life. The people I met, the talks we had in group and outside of group, the coping skills I learned in group and the individuals I had with the counselors all helped me so much. I feel that I learned everything I will need to help me with my recovery. I really don’t think that there is a better program out there. I’m really going to miss RCR (the place itself) but most of all I’m going to miss the people I met, I will never forget them. I’m so thankful to have been able to come here! Thank you!

Who says recovery needs to be a drag? Ranch Creek Recovery proved otherwise. My stay was one of the most healing, relaxing, and peaceful experiences of my life. Thanks to Mark and Shelly and the rest of the staff, I was able to start my journey towards recovery in the most comfortable way possible. They made me feel welcomed and at home, instead of institutionalized, which I had expected. The 60 days I spent here were 60 days I will always remember. Thank you for helping me start my life over again. Without the help of the wonderful staff, I would not be where I am today. Missing you guys!

I love this place and the fact that they have dogs…It saved my life. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The staff was a great help. They treated me well and always were attentive to my needs. They were very helpful and always there for me. All of the staff taught me life changing ways to cope with my everyday stresses and were awesome in showing me a great relapse prevention method.

Ranch creek is the equivalent to the red carpet treatment. I cant imagine treatment getting any better. It’s a loving and safe environment with employees that go above and beyond the call of duty. They have every kind of therapy you don’t even know you need. You’ll get it and the best part, you will enjoy every bit of it maybe even feel grateful for the hard parts. This place should be 5 stars from everyone.

Ranch Creek is an amazing place to start your recovery and start your new life. The owners do care and one of the owners actually has experience with our disease. Tracy is very educated and understands what each person is going through that comes through the doors. Each person that works for RCR is great, you can really tell that they care. The estate is very nice and well kept. Keep in mind going to rehab alone will not keep you sober for the rest of your life, it’s been my experience that finding a group like AA or something that works for you is necessary. But the great thing about RCR is that it builds a foundation for your sobriety. It’s a place where you can get away from your current situation and feel comfortable and an ‘at home feeling’. I love RCR and I’m forever grateful to them.

Checking myself into Ranch Creek Recovery was the best decision I made. Not only did they address the addiction but the deeper reasons for the addiction. The facility is gorgeous and set in a private and serene area. I stayed close to 60 days and I was sad to leave. The staff is incredible and they have the BEST Dr. on staff. If I had a choice to go back for a few days just to be there, I would. I am healthy now and I am in mid-recovery. The IOP program is also excellent. I hope to always stay connected to RCR because the staff became family to me. They genuinely care and I would HIGHLY recommend RCR to anyone!!
